In these companies, I was working on PHP/MySql Customized Application Development, Joomla, Magento, CakePHP and many more platforms.
Then I started my own partnership firm in 2011 with my wife M/s Xpert Web Services providing web services to my clients. I run this company for 2 years and then in 2013 I run my own company named “Comprehensive Web Solutions Pvt. Ltd.” providing website development services to our clients.
In 2017, I decided to shut down my company named “Comprehensive Web Solutions Pvt. Ltd.” And choose my niche in WordPress and Blogging. Since then I have been working as a full-time blogger and freelance WordPress Developer and trying to build my authority in this niche.
My Step To Blogging:
Before I start my blogging career in 2016, I heard that with blogging you can earn lots of money, so I booked my domain and buy hosting and start writing a few posts. I was thinking that I’ll make money now. As I have set up my blog with some articles. But money was not coming, as I was wrong. At that time I was not aware that just writing a few posts, I’ll start getting money. I was so confused, sometimes I was thinking I’ll not able to earn with my blog and start thinking to quit this blogging career.
One day I was going through with meetup.com, I found a group named “WordPress Delhi NCR Meetup Group”. I joined that group and attend some meetups near my location held by that group. And there I met with some new friends:
Sibtain Zaheer: A WordPress fan growing WordPress community not only in Delhi-NCR but in other cities as well.
Ankur Raheja: Domain, Cyber & Trademark Lawyer, Registration Services, Cyber Crime Investigation!
Jay Paudyal: Founder of Knowledge Cafe and now its name is Startup Cafe, where WordPress meetups were organized.
Arun Bansal: A co-founder and CEO at ServerGuy.
And lots of other friends.
One day Sibtain told me that we are organizing the “WordCamp Delhi 2017”, the first WordCamp held in Delhi. I was excited to hear that and join that WordCamp, as I will meet some new friends and learns more about WordPress. So I participated as a Volunteer in that WordCamp, that was my first WordCamp and start of my fulltime WordPress career. From then I am working as a Freelance WordPress Developer.
I learned lots of things about WordPress in those meetups and WordCamp. There, I also learned one most important thing that by sharing your knowledge on any niche can make you a good blogger. As a web developer, I choose my niche on WordPress and blogging. I start exploring WordPress and blogging, I clear my concept by following the documentation at WordPress.org and still continuing to improve my skills on my selected niche. As learning should never stop.
Who gave me the inspiration to start my own Blog:
Before starting writing articles on my blog, I was confused, what to write and how to write?
For that, I start following some other bloggers of the same niche. After reading some articles of top bloggers of my niche and meeting personally with them, I learned lots of things, how they write, how they are interlinking their articles and how they are getting traffic to their blogs.
I found some top bloggers of India and they inspired me lots to make my career in this blogging since 2016. They are:
Harsh Agrawal – A passionate blogger and founder of ShoutMeLoud (Award winning blog).
“Yes you are not PERFECT at this point… But if you would not take the first step towards that point… You would never reach there… This is the time, believe yourself & take the first step with all the CONFIDENCE.” – Harsh Agrawal (ShoutMeLoud)
Harsh Agrawal, I asked the same question to him, how and what to write? He told me Lalit, take the first step to understand your niche and build your authority in that and start writing about that. Once you share your knowledge of what you learned with others, your concept will be cleared and you will have better control over that niche. This is why I choose my domain name BloggingStep.com – A step to blogging. (Luckily the domain name was available).
Kulwant Nagi – A blogger doing blogging since 2011 and running a digital marketing company in India now.
Kulwant Nagi, another great blogger of my selected niche. I met with him in a meetup held at StartCafe. I love to read his articles. His articles are easy to understand and helping me to understand more about my niche.
I would say many thanks to both of you as you both and your articles inspired me a lot to start my own blog. Once again Thank you so much!!
